Chennai:Chief Minister's Extensive Medicare Insurance Scheme in Tamil Nadu has been implemented to help the poor families benefit under annual income of Rs 72,000.
Under this scheme, it has been facilitated to receive quality surveillance and medical treatment in private and government hospitals.
This project is designed to benefit all age groups from children up to first age.
This program has been implemented for 1016 treatment modalities, 113 series therapies and 23 recognition methods, including treatment for babies.
Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy today said the maximum amount of treatment under this scheme would be increased from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. #treatmentamount #CMCHIS #treatmentamountraised
