General candidate wins; President Yameen's defeat

Opposition candidate Ibrahim Mohammed Solih was elected as the new president of Maldives. Maldives president Abdullah Yameen lost the last presidential election last Sunday. Sunday's presidential election recorded 92 percent of the vote. The polls were held till 7pm.
