Karunas MLA, the head of the Mukkulathar Tribal Organization in the case, criticized the then Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniasamy and the deputy police commissioner Aravindan in Chennai. Judge Roslin Thuray, who inquired the petition, ordered the bail to Karunasu in this case.
