Jaffna News: Three persons, including a woman, have been detained under police special operation in Jaffna.Three persons, including a female officer working in the company, have been arrested this morning for allegedly looting money at the knife.
The robbery took place at a financial institution in Chavakachcheri Nagar area of Jaffna. On the 19th of last morning, around 19 lakh rupees were stolen at the knife.
Financial institution personnel have been involved in the deposit of money in the bank. Two of those who entered the knife threatened the robbers and robbed them.
Investigation has been initiated following the incident to Chavakachcheri police in connection with the incident.
