Sewage mining works are suspended for the Mannar Sathosa Complex

Excavations carried out in the human grave in the Mannar Cadastral Complex have been temporarily suspended.

Professor Raj Somadeva told the NewSpace that Kelaniya University was postponed due to some other issues including lectures.

According to him, the excavations have been restarted since 1st of October.

The professor also said that the court had announced this.

In the hamlet excavations that began last May, 143 human skeletons have been recovered so far.

Excavations were initiated following the digging of a human trash in the Mannar Sathosa Building Complex.
