Chennai:The panel headed by IG Ponnu Manikkavel investigated cases related to the statue in Tamil Nadu. The Government of Tamil Nadu released the cases to the CBI, claiming that the inquiry was not satisfactory.
The Tamil Nadu government has recommended the CBI to inquire into the allegations involving foreign nationals in statues of Tamil Nadu.
Yanayi filed a case against Rajendran High Court to cancel the government. Judges investigating the case interrupted the CBI investigation.
In the meantime, lawyer Yanai Rajendran and Traipi Ramasamy filed a petition against the Government of Tamil Nadu. IG Ponnu Gavikalivel's term ended and he retires today.
In this case, the Judge Mahadevan inquired on the petition filed by advocate Yanai Rajendran and Traipi Ramasamy.
