With the arrival of digital camera in cinema, the number of films released annually is increasing. Over the past few years over 200 films have been released.
But in 2018 this number has fallen to 171. Tamil cinema associations united 48 days in April and May have not been released since the collaboration of the Tamil cinema unions to reduce digital broadcasting rates.
There was a problem in the release of the completed films after this strike. This problem lasts for today. The two films, including Boomerang, Sarvam Rama Maayam, which were scheduled to be released this week, have retreated due to lack of theaters.
There are around 1000 theaters in Tamilnadu. Last week's 7 films and last month's 2.0 film was the reason why the theater was not running. Cinema critics say this will last till Pongal and Vishwamam 2 films. #TamilCinema #TFPC #ProducersCouncil #Petta #Viswasam
